First-year student Nene Yashiro decides to summon Hanako-san of the Toilet, the spirit of a girl who apparently haunts toilets at school. It is said that Hanako-san has the ability to grant wishes. Nene wishes for her crush to return her feelings.
Nene successfully summons Hanako-san and finds out that he's actually a boy. A series of events causes her to end up involved within the affairs of the world of the supernatural as Hanako-kun's assistant. She eventually learns more about Hanako, his past, and how it all ties up to the balance of his world.
