Ahead of the Season 4 premiere, MGM+ announced that From had been renewed for a fifth and final season in April.
The series is set to conclude its overarching mystery, with production reportedly scheduled to begin later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
"We are wildly excited to announce that we've officially begun work on Season 5, which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion," series creators John Griffin, Jeff Pinkner, and Jack Bender said in a statement. "Which means questions will be answered, answers will be questioned, and there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in between."

Jade (David Alpay) and Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) became trapped beneath the Bottle Tree after unearthing mysterious bones, while Mari (Kaelen Ohm) and Elgin (Nathan D. Simmons) were killed in separate incidents.
Fatima (Pegah Ghafoori) then transformed into one of the Creatures to help Boyd (Harold Perrineau), Jade, and Tabitha escape. Victor (Scott McCord) survived a confrontation with his father, Henry (Robert Joy), while Sophia's (Julia Doyle) actions may have changed Fromville forever. After an encounter with the Boy in White, she stole all of the town's protective talismans and threw them into the Faraway Tree, leaving the residents more exposed than ever to the deadly threats that emerge after dark.
"We set so much into motion in Season 1. A lot of Seasons 4 and 5 continue the storylines we established, many of which are obvious to the audience and some of which are not," executive producer and director Jack Bender told The Hollywood Reporter. "There are a lot of inevitabilities coming into Season 5."
Lead star Harold Perrineau, meanwhile, said the excitement of the series comes from viewers gradually uncovering its mysteries. According to the actor, if the show had revealed all of its answers too early, it wouldn't have remained compelling for as long as it has.
"Here's the thing that's been really great and creative about the way that John's written From... Some of the answers, some of the clues, are so subtle that you are not going to know for a long time," he teased. "When they pay off, you'll be like, 'Oh, wow, that was slick.'"
