Will There Be a DanMachi Season 5?
DanMachi fans are eager to know if the fantasy anime will have a fifth season. Sadly, there is no confirmation yet from the DanMachi creators as well as J.C.Staff, the studio behind the series.
In the past, it usually takes a year or more before a new season is released. Fans had to wait three years after season one before a sequel was confirmed.
They waited another year after that before the third season aired and two more years for the fourth season.
With this in mind, fans can expect the renewal announcement to come in a year or more after Season 4 ends.
DanMachi Season 5 Release Date
The release date announcement will be available after the renewal is confirmed. Usually, the release date gets announced a couple of months after the official statement, as was the case for the third season.
DanMachi Season 3 was announced in September 2019, but the anime aired in October 2020 due to the pandemic.
The same thing happened with the fourth season. The confirmation was released in January 2021, but the first part's premiere happened in July 2022.
If DanMachi Season 5 gets confirmed by the first quarter of 2024, the anime will likely air by 2025.
However, if the demand for Season 5 is high enough, fans might get its confirmation in mid to late 2023.
The release date will still depend on the studio, though, as there are a lot of factors to consider like which scenes to animate, and so on.

If we base it on the popularity and adaptable content of DanMachi, the hit anime will most likely get a fifth season.
DanMachi's source material is still ongoing, which means Bell Cranel’s story is not ending anytime soon.
The story also continues to explore the other characters, which makes it even more interesting.
Viewers are learning not only about Bell but the other party members as well, and as their journey continues, so will the anime (hopefully).
