Shintaro Tokumitsu is a high schooler who has worked part-time to make ends meet since he started living by himself in an apartment building.

He’s used to living alone, but sometimes he also craves company that’s not just his own thoughts.

One fateful night, an angel named Towa crashes into Shintaro's balcony to sleep. She claims to be from heaven and that God above sent her to study humanity on behalf of all angels because they have had few opportunities to connect with one another.

When Shintaro learned about Towa's situation, he assumed she was a dangerous fugitive with a weird and foolish mind. He sends her away despite her pleas to stay since it is the most practical option.

Shintaro does, however, cross paths with Towa again, only to discover that she has almost been duped by a perverted man who is going to take her to a hotel.

Thus, Shintaro decides to let Towa stay with him for the time being to protect her from harm.
