Tragedy is something inevitable in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and with Cassie being set up to be a hero of her own, does this mean that Scott Lang would perish in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania? Will he be dying or will he be able to outsmart Kang?

Will Scott Lang Die in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania?
Straight up, the answer is no, Scott Lang will not die in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania. Even when Cassie Lang is being set up as a hero of her own, that does not mean that her father would have to die so she could reach that status.
Think of it this way, Hank Pym was the first one to don the suit of Ant-Man and even when he passed down the title to Scott Lang, he didn't have to die so that Scott's Ant-Man could happen. That is same with Janet Van Dyne and Hope, too!
In Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania, while Scott faces Kang in what seems to be a deadly battle, Scott didn't die. In fact, it is even Kang the Conqueror who faced his demise. Everyone has Hope to thank for in that scene. It is Hope that kept Scott alive.
When Scott and Kang faced each other, they fought a hard fist fight and when Scott destroyed the power core of Kang, the villain immediately thought of escaping through the portal to Earth but no, Hope was there. She came back for Scott and pushed Kang to his core which exploded.
Scott may be bruised and scarred but he gets to live another day, all because of Hope.

Upon returning on Earth, Scott weighs in on everything that happened, even having some crisis whether killing Kang was a good idea but that had to happen so that the rest of the Multiverse Saga would. Scott may not know it yet but what he did is just the beginning.
Scott Lang remains alive and well, even gets to celebrate a fake birthday for Cassie for those he missed. While life may not make sense sometimes, for Scott, being Cassie's father is all the brings him to his senses.
