King Charles III’s coronation will soon be held, and it remains to be seen if his son, Prince Harry, will attend the historic event. With the revelations and allegations he made against the royal family in the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan and his memoir, Spare, will the Duke of Sussex be there?

The King’s coronation will be held on Saturday, May 6, which also happens to be the birthday of his grandson and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s firstborn, Archie. So, will this be the time that the controversial royal couple will set foot at Westminster Abbey again?

Prince Harry’s Role at King Charles’ Coronation Removed

Ahead of Spare’s release on January 10, The Sunday Times reported that Prince Harry had no role in King Charles’ coronation.

Allegedly, His Majesty has “completely written” his youngest son out of the coronation script. It just means that he will be a mere audience member if he ever attends the event.

The report further claimed that the monarch would no longer require the six royal dukes, which include Prince Harry, to kneel before him to “pay homage” before touching the crown and kissing his right cheek.

Prince Harry May Find a Reason Not to Attend King Charles’ Coronation

Meanwhile, amid the speculations that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will still receive invites to King Charles’ coronation despite his explosive revelations in Spare, they’re expected to “find a reason not to go.”

A royal source, who’s allegedly close to the royal family, told The Independent that it would be “very hard” for the Sussexes to attend the special event after everything that had been said.
