One of the burning questions that fans have on the Young Sheldon spinoff series George & Mandy's First Marriage is whether the late George Sr. will make an appearance.

The Cooper patriarch notably passed away during the final episodes of Young Sheldon. It was an emotional moment for the series and it had a major effect on the events of the spinoff when it started.

Young Sheldon's Connection to Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage So Far

In the first two episodes of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage that have aired so far, we've seen cast members from Young Sheldon already making appearances in the spinoff.

During the pilot episode alone, Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry) and Meemaw (Annie Potts) show up to give Georgie a housewarming gift and establish the show's connection to Young Sheldon.

In the recently aired second episode, Missy Cooper (Raegan Revord) made a guest appearance where she was involved in its A-story and showed that they are still grieving the loss of their father.

It was reported that Mary, Meemaw, Missy, and Dale Ballard (Craig T. Nelson) are set to appear in the first season's upcoming Thanksgiving episode next month.

As a result, only Sheldon Cooper and George Sr. are the remaining main characters from Young Sheldon who have yet to make an appearance in the series.

Will We See George Sr. Appear in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage?

Considering that George Sr. has passed away, it's easy to rule out any potential appearance from him in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage.

However, there is still a possibility that he could show up through a flashback or dream sequence if the story calls for his character to have some sort of physical appearance on-screen.

In a recent interview, Montana Jordan, who plays Georgie, suggested a way for them to bring back George Sr. in the spinoff.

"I think Georgie is doing a hell of a job with the way he’s handling it. I really do. I’m sure there will be some type of throwback or something. Or he might come in as a ghost or something. You never know!" he said.

For now, fans of the spinoff series should watch out for any news or surprise appearances in the upcoming episode to find out if George Sr. will show up in some capacity.
