The new season of the medical drama Dr. Death is now available to stream on Peacock. This leads viewers to the important question: will Dr. Death be on Netflix soon? Here's what we know so far.
What Is the Dr. Death Series About?
According to its official trailer, the synopsis of Dr. Death Season 1 reads:
"Based on Wondery’s hit podcast, Dr. Death is inspired by the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson), a rising star in the Dallas medical community.
Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed. Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead.
As victims piled up, two fellow physicians, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Christian Slater), as well as Dallas prosecutor Michelle Shughart (AnnaSophia Robb), set out to stop him.
Dr. Death explores the twisted mind of Dr. Duntsch and the failures of the system designed to protect the most defenseless among us."
The Peacock series was inspired by the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch and shows the horrors experienced by the medical field because one man was fascinated with death.
In Dr. Death Season 2, the series highlights the life of Dr. Paolo Macchiarini, who was recently exposed in the Netflix documentary, Bad Surgeon: Love Under the Knife.
Dr. Macchiarini claimed to have developed a new technology using synthetic scaffolds seeded with the stem cells of the patient.
However, as it turns out, all (except for one) of his patients died.
Who Stars in Dr. Death Season 2?
Since the second season of Dr. Death follows a new story, the show has a slate of different actors. These include the following:

Will Dr. Death Be on Netflix?
So will Dr. Death be on Netflix? As of writing, there is no announcement that the show will be coming to Netflix at all.
