Wil Wheaton Went To See The Last Jedi In A Star Trek Uniform

Back in the 80s, Wil Wheaton was best known for playing a young Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Nect Generation, and like many others, he's a bona fide geek who loves pop culture. With the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi though, he's decided that it would be fun to come to a premiere wearing a Trek outfit.

Check it out:

Though there is considered to be a rivalry between Star Trek and Star Wars fans, there are some like Wheaton who agree that you can like both franchises without hating the other. Heck, J.J. Abrams may have not gotten his gig directing The Force Awakens if he didn't do such a great job with his Trek reboot.

Wheaton actually did the same thing in an episode of The Big Bang Theory where his character (a parody of himself) went to the premiere of The Force Awakens wearing a Spock outfit; mainly to poke fun at the fans who take the franchise too seriously.

Granted with his online following, Wheaton will have another stunt to pull in the premiere of the Han Solo movie next year. Let's also not forget he massive hype that is building around Avengers: Infinity War.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now out in theaters.
