Wikipedia Members Debate Deleting Page Focused On Justice League’s Snyder Cut Movement

It looks like Wikipedia is getting tired of the campaign for the Snyder Cut of the DC Extended Universe flop, Justice League.

According to a report by Screen Rant, members of Wikipedia is currently debating whether or not it should delete the separate page the site has for the Snyder Cut of Justice League.

The past few months, fans have been rallying for Warner Brothers to release Zack Snyder's version of Justice League. Sure, the director was originally working on the film, however, Warner Brothers swooped in and decided to allow Avengers director Joss Whedon to make significant changes to the film after Snyder asked to leave the film during its reshoots.

Justice League ended up being very different from what Snyder had envisioned, and there have been multiple reports saying that Warner Brothers has a complete version of the film with the original footage that Snyder meant for the comic book movie.

The entire thing has become quite the show, so much so that a well-researched page regarding the incident has been put up on Wikipedia. The page lists down all the different versions of the Justice League movie that went through production, including the original narrative written by Snyder and Chris Terrio to the ones that fans made for themselves while imagining what the director wrote.

However, not everyone is happy with the Snyder Cut page on Wikipedia, with the site's users complaining that:

The page goes into such excessive detail on every tiny aspect of Zack Snyder's Justice League and its process in reaching theaters that it seems unlikely to interest or meaningfully inform anyone except dedicated fans of the director's work who are heavily invested in seeing the "Snyder Cut" released. In fact, it also seems unlikely this subject rises to the standards of notability for such a minutely detailed article, and largely exists so it can be shared in the celebration that Wikipedia thinks the Snyder Cut notable enough to deserve such a lengthy article. Smacks of fan bias at every turn.

Honestly speaking, it's all a bit too much, really. The Wikipedia page, the conflict about the Wikipedia page – all of these things seem a bit excessive. However, we understand DC fans passion, and we can see how important this page might actually be to some. After all, there are fans who continue to campaign for the Snyder Cut of Justice League from Warner Brothers despite the fact that it's been nearly two years since the film's release.
