NCIS Season 19 is currently on a one-month break due to the Winter Olympics 2022. When it returns, though, fans are in for a treat as the episode is penned by one of its series, “veterans.”
Express UK said that Brian Dietzen took a step back from his role as Jimmy Palmer to co-write the upcoming installment of the show.
The episode, which carries the title, The Helpers, has yet to make its official synopsis known. But, the publication said that it will feature a “big Jimmy-central storyline.”

Upcoming NCIS Episode Will Center On Jimmy
In NCIS Season 18, Jimmy Palmer lost his wife Breene Palmer to COVID-19. The tragic event caused heartbreak to fans and followers as they witnessed the medical examiner’s grief.
The pair share a daughter, whom they welcomed back in Season 12. It was an emotional moment, as well, especially after naming her after Ducky’s late mother.
Viewers have yet to see the Palmers’ child for over six seasons. But, it has been teased that she will make her debut in NCIS Season 19, particularly in its returning episode.

Why Fans Are 'In Tears'
Ahead of the episode’s arrival, Brian Dietzen teased on social media a photo of him and a young actress sitting on the set of the show. Although they did not share their faces before the camera, fans are reportedly excited to meet her, who will play the role of Jimmy Palmer’s daughter, Victoria.
The same publication uncovered some of the comments from avid viewers. Most of them appeared to have expressed their eagerness to see Victoria at last.
One even stated that many are “looking forward” to seeing the new episode of Season 19. As for others, they shared how “so much has changed” on the series, and it is reportedly leaving them in tears.
NCIS Season 19 will return for its 13th episode titled, The Helpers, on CBS, on February 28.
