Does Annabeth Kill Percy Jackson?
Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson are the typical enemies-to-lovers kind of love story that went through the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series.
While Percy understandably had difficulties fitting in, both in the real world and once he landed in Camp Half-Blood, Annabeth kept her distance in an attempt to study the newbie demigod.
Since Annabeth is one of the daughters of Athena, aka the Greek goddess of wisdom, this required Annabeth to rise to her knowledge and put it to good use to make her mother proud.
With that said, does Annabeth kill Percy at one point? The clear answer is no.
Considering that the Percy Jackson series had been around since 2005, there had been several fanfictions scattered across the internet that could have been mistaken as a part of the canon story.
There had been instances where the two would fall to near-death experiences, something around this kind of sacrifice could likely work in a future storyline.
Now, what remains to be seen is the possibility that Rick Riordan could change a couple of canon stories in the ongoing Disney show. But here's what we know.

Will Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson End Up Together in the Series?
The original Percy Jackson novel series ended decades ago, but now that Riordan's best-selling Young Adult story is taking another go with a series reboot of the franchise, there's a chance we might witness a couple of changes once the show reaches more of his other books.
Annabeth and Percy's love story was a bit of a bumpy ride but they do eventually get there, even to the point of thinking about a future at college and the potential kids they plan to raise together.
Despite their forbidden love, thanks to Athena's orders from Annabeth, the two were implied to have gotten hitched by the end of their series.
Rick Riordan's Inspiration Behind Annabeth and Percy's Love Story
In October, Rick Riordan shared with TODAY that his wife, Becky Riordan was behind the inspiration for how Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase's romantic journey came to be:
"Becky and I got together when we were 16. We've been together a long time. She is in many ways, in every way really, my better half, my Annabeth, the person who keeps me from doing the dumb seaweed brain things that I would otherwise do. When I draw on Percy and Annabeth, that is straight out of my own relationship with Becky."
