Who Is Migi and Dali’s Mother?

The name of Migi and Dali’s mother is Metry. She was a beautiful blonde woman characterized by her kind heart, gentle soul, and attractive smile. She’s the type of girl most men would want for their wives.

Metry didn’t think highly of herself. She had low self-esteem and was very conscious of her actions and emotions in fear that somebody out there would judge her, including Reiko of the Ichijou household.

In the past, Metry was hired by Reiko to be a housemaid for the well-respected and highly regarded Ichijou Household.

Reiko was the president of the neighborhood association and the wife of Akira, who was a psychologist.

Metry looked up to Reiko the most, given her desire for perfection.

She wanted to be perfect like Reiko, but the more she wanted to become similar to Reiko, the more her life got miserable. It’s the cost of perfection, some would say.

But Reiko was not as perfect as Metry expected her to be. She can’t have children with Akira, which forces her to ask Metry to give birth on her behalf.

She asked Metry to sleep with Akira without the latter knowing about the switch.

Eventually, Metry got pregnant, and Reiko’s plan was successful. However, Akira fell in love with Metry, which put Reiko in an unfortunate situation.

This led Reiko to lock Metry in a room with a water flea wallpaper pattern, which Migi and Dali grew accustomed to after they were born.

Migi and Dali’s mother, Metry, died on Christmas Day. She was found lying on the ground, crawling desperately to go back to where Migi and Dali were staying at the time.

No suspect has been found or arrested, causing pain and anguish to the twins.

They were supposed to be together on Christmas Day, but their mother left them behind to go back to town.

In addition, they were supposed to live life anew after they escaped the abusive treatment of Reiko Ichijou, but their mother couldn’t help but go back over and over again despite everything that happened.

In reality, Metry wanted to go back to town to get her child back. Metry had triplets, but it was only Migi and Dali who were given to her.

The third child was Eiji Ichijou, whom Reiko decided to keep, most likely because they had the same hair color. This would explain why Metry couldn’t leave town with Migi and Dali.

Eiji Ichijou, Reiko’s adopted son and Metry’s biological son, killed Metry on Christmas Day. He was five years old then, and he pushed a woman on the edge of the outer window, which led to her demise.

Reiko poisoned Eiji’s mind and asked him to believe that the woman he pushed was a monster who never existed in town.

After all, Reiko believed that Metry was a demonic woman who cursed her life.

Migi and Dali find out the truth by the end of the manga series. They forgive Eiji for what he did after he served time in prison for killing Reiko, burning the Ichijou house, and the death of Mitsuyama.
