Migi and Dali: Sonoyama Household’s Newest Twins

The elderly couple in the Sonoyama household is unfortunately childless. They’ve been praying for a very long time to have a child of their own, but the more they wait, the more they get hopeless, not to mention older.

Osamu and Youko Sonoyama opted for adoption. It may appear late for the elderly couple, but they couldn’t resist the dream of having a complete family.

They went to look at some children in an orphanage, but one boy in particular caught their attention.

Why so? The boy is incredibly handsome, well-mannered, and kind to animals.

The Sonoyamas were supposed to adopt a different child, but when they saw how beautiful and kind this young boy was, they immediately changed their minds.

The boy’s name was Hitori, and since then, he has been the only child of the Sonoyama household. But little do Osamu and Youko know: Hitori hides a huge secret that nobody should ever know.

As it turns out, Hitori has two identities, and they are Migi and Dali. The older one, Dali, is calm and collected, while the younger one, Migi, is impulsive and emotional.

Together, they move into the Sonoyama household in the hopes of accomplishing their secret objective.

Hitori is hiding his twin from Osamu and Youko Sonoyama in fear that the elderly couple will return them to the orphanage.

If this happens, Migi and Dali’s well-thought-out plan will be in vain, and their progress will go back to zero.

Even so, Migi and Dali would often switch places in front of Osamu and Youko.

From baking cherry pies to eating at the dining table, Migi and Dali carefully but smoothly switch places to fulfill their plans, like they’re incredibly used to it.

Migi and Dali are also suspicious of the elderly couple. They don’t trust people easily, given their circumstances.

In fact, Migi and Dali investigated all parts of the Sonoyama house to avoid any mistakes or harm that could affect them both.

Luckily, Osamu and Youko are both gullible, making it easier for Migi and Dali to hide their secret objective.

What Is Migi and Dali’s Objective?

Aside from Hitori having two identities, Migi and Dali also have a secret objective! The reason they’re both so alert, attentive, and suspicious most of the time lies in what they have been through in the past.

Migi and Dali’s secret objective is to find their biological mother’s killer and exact revenge.

They simply want to find the murderer and kill whoever it was who left their mother crawling back to where they were staying at the time.

The first step towards achieving this plan is to infiltrate the town their mother used to love in the past.

They were successful in completing this first step as they became the adoptive son of the Sonoyama household.

The next step is to investigate and check all of the houses in town in search of a room that has water flea-patterned wallpaper.

They can only do this by befriending the other children their age and being invited to their house.
