Since the start of the show, we rarely see a new character gets introduced in Marvel's What If..? and for Episode 4, we got a new person with the soft-spoken librarian that Stephen Strange approached while he was looking for the Library of Cagliostro: O-Bengh, and he has a lot of wise words to give to the Sorcerer Supreme that actually makes a lot of sense. But first, who is he?

Who is O-Bengh in Marvel's What If..? Episode 4
In Marvel's What If..? Episode 4, What If... Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?, we encountered the cryptic librarian that Doctor Strange saw on his way looking for the Library of Cagliostro, a soft-spoken man named O-Bengh and though his role in the episode was to share extremely wise words to Strange, his character is more than what meets the eyes.
O-Bengh brought Doctor Strange into the Library of Cagliostro as he was looking for ways on how to remove an absolute point in time – the death of Christine Palmer, the love of his life, and bring her back. He led Strange to various books he could use and through time, he looked after him like when he first encountered the tentacled creature. In the end, he warned Strange of what could happen in the reality.
He told Strange that complete destruction of the universe is bound to happen as he continues to devour the powers of magical beings trying to reverse the absolute point in time of the death of Christine. In the end, he was right all along and the universe Strange was in became his very own prison.

In the comics, O-Bengh is much more than just an ominous character – he is an extremely powerful being, none other than Cagliostro himself. He wears such pseudonyms and went with a lot of different things to call him such as Al-Tothas, Endless One, King of the Gypsies, and Giuseppe Balsamo. It was him who created the lost library.
He is well-versed with the mystic arts and he could astral project, make bolts of magic, even teleport and read minds. With the Darkhold, he knew the secrets of how to live a longer life and extend it. His knowledge makes him really dangerous with all the books he has in his possession. His presence being introduced in the MCU could spell chaos especially with the Darkhold being in the possession of Wanda.
