Unfrosted Marks Eleanor Sweeney's Film Debut
Unfrosted on Netflix follows the story between "sworn cereal rivals" Kellogg's and Post, whose race to create pastry "will change the face of breakfast forever."
The ensemble cast includes Jerry Seinfeld as Bob Cabana, the head of development at Kellogg's, Melissa McCarthy as Donna "Stan" Stankowski, the wunderkind technician to make Pop-Tarts come to reality, and Hugh Grant's Thurl Ravenscroft as Tony the Tiger mascot at Kellogg's, to mention a few.
However, the film also includes a few kid actors who landed their first film role, such as Eleanor Sweeney, who plays the role of Cathy, one of the kids at the dumpster Bob Cabana found lurking in the Post company's area.
Thanks to Sweeney's official Netflix debut, she got to walk the red carpet and fully take in the Hollywood experience as she signed autographs and walked away with Pop-Tarts cereals by the end of it.
According to a critic, Eleanor Sweeney "manages to one-up the film's cavalcade of stars" in one particular scene.
Who Is Cathy in Netflix's Unfrosted Film?
Cathy (played by Eleanor Sweeney) is one of the few kid actors on Netflix's Unfrosted.
She first showed up as one of the two kids who went snooping around in the dumpster of Kellogg's rival cereal company, Post.
Cathy was the reason Bob Cabana (Jerry Seinfeld) discovered that the Post had been stealing Kellogg's research and perfected their fruit-based cereal in the film.
Once Marjorie Post (Amy Schumer) 'caught' the dumpster kids, she had them taste a sample of their newly made cereals, which Cathy describes as "better than what's in the dumpster."
Cathy essentially became a cereal critique of some kind, even at Kellogg's, when they were trying to make up a catchy new phrase for their new products.
Unfrosted is now available to stream on Netflix.
