After facing 100 rejections, the mysterious deity of the love shrine blesses Rentarou with having 100 soulmates. Unfortunately, the blessing comes with a curse.

God tells Rentarou that for those who have encountered their soulmates if they fail to nurture their love and find happiness together, they shall meet untimely death through a series of unfortunate incidents.

Rentarou is faced with a dire predicament and comes up with a secret strategy that he will maintain a relationship with all of his girlfriends.

In essence, Rentarou finds himself unable to engage in an exclusive relationship with only one person, as he is compelled to date all the girls identified as his soulmates as he encounters them.

So, Rentarou will have no choice but to be a part of this 100-person harem in 100 Girlfriends.
