Bumblebee dies in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. He's killed by the Terrorcon Scourge. But worry not because Bumblebee is later on revived.

Bumblebee is definitely popular among fans. He’s an Autobot that favors the humans.

Optimus Prime even tells him that just because one was kind to him doesn’t mean all of them can be trusted. He also tells Bumblebee that he should stop going to drive-in theaters.

In Rise of the Beasts, the Autobots find out that the Transwarp Key is their way back to Cybertron and that it was currently in a museum.

They head over to the museum and assign Noah to steal the Key for them. However, the Terrorcons Scourge, Nightbird, and Battletrap arrive and try to obtain the Key for their master, Unicron.

The Autobots and the Terrorcons fight for the Key. Scourge almost kills Optimus Prime, but Bumblebee steps in.

Scourge stabs Bumblebee and successfully kills him. He then removes Bumblebee’s Autobot emblem.

Scourge then goes after Optimus Prime. But before he could kill Optimus Prime too, Airazor arrives and rescues them from the Terrorcons.

Optimus Prime is heartbroken over the death of Bumblebee. He and the others bring his body as they go to Peru where they believe the other part of the Transwarp Key is.

The Autobots meet the rest of the Maximals, including Optimus Primal. It turns out, the Maximals were staying in a place that had Energon. Prime wishes to use the Energon to revive Bumblebee.

However, Primal responds that there isn’t enough energy to use the Energon. Prime then lays Bumblebee’s body on a rock in an area with Energon.

Unfortunately, the Terrorcons obtain both parts of the Transwarp Key, and their leader Scourge uses it to operate a machine that would allow Unicron to enter Earth.

The Autobots and the Maximals fight the Terrorcons while Elena looks for an access code that could stop the machine. During the battle, the machine releases a great amount of energy.

The Energon reacts to the released energy, and Energon flows through Bumblebee. The Autobots and the Maximals appear to be losing, but then Stratosphere arrives and Bumblebee jumps out.

Bumblebee says that he has come to “kick ass”, and Nightbird says that Bumblebee should have stayed dead.

Scourge shoots at Bumblebee, but the Autobot uses Nightbird as a shield. He then stabs the Terrorcon and she explodes.

Later on, Prime defeats Scourge (character death explained below) and Bumblebee gets his Autobot emblem back.

She says that she can’t hold it anymore and asks Primal to finish her. Before the character dies in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, she tells him to remember the oath, no matter the cost. Primal then unwillingly kills Airazor.

Mirage seemingly dies in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. During the final battle in the movie, Scourge goes after Noah, but the human is protected by Mirage.

Mirage shields Noah from Scourge’s blast. Noah asks Mirage what he’s doing, and the latter responds that he’s keeping a promise to Noah’s brother.

Later on, while Mirage is seemingly dead, Noah talks to his brother Kris. Kris asks where’s Mirage and Noah responds that he’s gone.

He talks about not being able to save the world, and Kris encourages his big brother that he can do it. Mirage then wakes up and says that they are so cute.

Noah is relieved to see Mirage alive, and the Autobot responds that Noah has to “take over the wheel.” Mirage then transforms and becomes Noah’s exosuit.

In the mid-credits scene, Noah successfully repairs Mirage and the Autobot transforms in front of Reek.

The leader of the Terrorcons dies in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The character who’s responsible for a lot of deaths in the movie dies in the end.

As Airazor explains, Terrorcons, like Scourge, are servants of a dark god (Unicron). They are all imbued with dark energy. Unicron also possesses the soul of Scourge.

When the Autobots first encounter the Terrorcons, Prime says “Impossible” and Scourge responds that he likes the look when an “inferior being meets a higher power.”

And just when he almost kills Prime, Bumblebee steps in and takes the hits instead.

In the final battle of the movie, Prime and Scourge fight one last time where Prime says “Time to show you the real power of a Prime.”

Prime cuts off Scourge’s arms and rips out his head. He then takes back Bumblebee’s Autobot emblem and returns it to the latter.

Additionally, things don’t end well for one of Scourge’s allies, Battletrap. Prime and Primal fight the Terrorcon, but Primal ends up being the one that finishes him off. Prime then tells Primal “He was mine!”

After defeating the henchmen of Unicron, Prime realizes that he needs to destroy the Transwarp Key to stop Unicron from invading Earth.

He chooses to make this sacrifice even if it means not being able to go back to Cybertron. Prime destroys the Transwarp Key and while he’s about to be pulled into the portal, Noah grabs onto him.

Primal then saves the both of them. “Arrival to Earth” starts playing, and the Autobots and Maximals ask if they have already defeated Unicron.

Primal responds that Unicron is “trapped, but not dead.” Prime then responds, “Let him come. We will destroy him once and for all.”

He then gives his usual “I am Optimus Prime” speech at the end of the film and says that they have gained an ally (the humans) in the battle against evil. He then says that together, they may have a chance.
