Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has been one of the most highly anticipated streaming shows this November 2023, so there's no doubt that Godzilla will be making an appearance himself in the... well, legacy of the Kaiju collection.

Since the series has been confirmed to be a part of the MonsterVerse franchise and the canon timeline, it's only natural for the first classic Gojira to be a part of the upcoming series.

Mother Longlegs

An exclusive opening clip for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters features Bill Randa's John Goodman running away from the gigantic spider called Mother Longlegs, aka the Bamboo Spider, who was first seen in Kong: Skull Island.

Let's just say, if you've seen how Skull Island ended up after encountering the giant, stay away from Bamboo forests.

Mantleclaw

Another Kaiju that's meant to be showcased in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is the Mantleclaw, the crab-like Kaiju who was seen saving John Goodman from Mother Longlegs in the exclusive feature.

The Legacy of Monsters title pretty much explains itself as the battle of Kaiju ensued in the short clip, which teases what's to come and what Kaiju fans can expect once the show starts streaming on Apple TV+.

Endoswarmers

The trailer of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters teased more Kaiju than we can count and another one of the classic titans is the Endoswarmers.

Insectoid superspecies were seen hatching eggs in the short clip. While the trailer doesn't speak much about its origins and just how strong the species would be in battle, their strength would most likely come from their sheer number.

Skullcrawler

Skullcrawlers and the Skulldevil first made their debut in the MonsterVerse canon in Kong: Skull Island.

These creatures remain unsure whether they're going to be a part of the Monarch series, but their leftover carcasses were seen on the shoreline, right where Goodman was trying to escape Mother Longlegs.

More Monsters To Come in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

There had been other Kaiju that have been teased on the list, which you can check out below:

Their names have yet to be announced officially, but if there is anything worth checking out, it's that Monarch: Legacy of Monsters will surely include more easter eggs for fans to spot on their binge-watching of the series!

It is worth mentioning that although the Monarch: Legacy of Monsters series does intend to bring back the nostalgia of seeing the classic Kaiju back on the small screens, the show's co-executive producer Matt Fraction warned fans to not expect giant monster battles in every episode (via Entertainment Weekly):

"What we set out to do was to make a show set in the MonsterVerse that wasn't focused on the monsters. We felt we couldn't compete with the feature films and we shouldn't try. To build a television series, you have to create a cast of characters, a set of people that you want to follow week to week, and if we're lucky, multiple seasons. This is a show about people who have woken up and live in a world where monsters are real."
