A tragedy strikes Japan, and people now have to deal with preventing themselves from getting fully covered in rust. Fans who are keeping an eye out on new shows this Winter 2022 should check out Sabikui Bisco or Rust-Eater Bisco if they're interested in a post-apocalyptic setting. It follows the story of Bisco Akaboshi, an archer known as a terrorist. His arrows are known to sprout mushrooms wherever they fall. Despite being called Man-Eating Mushroom, it turns out that he's actually using these mushrooms to protect the country and bring it back to what it was.

The anime adaptation by OZ premiered last January 11, 2022. The show is adapted from a light novel series of the same name. Shinji Cobkubo writes the story while K Akagishi and mocha handle the illustrations. There is also a manga adaptation written by Cobkubo, published under Square Enix's Manga UP.
