An Australian series, Gnomes premiered on October 8, 2026, with six episodes, earning praise for its fun and entertaining story, which has been compared to the iconic 1984 movie Gremlins.
If you want to see whether the series lives up to the hype, here’s where you can stream it.
Streaming Option(s)
A Stan original series, Gnomes secured funding from Screen Australia and VicScreen, while Disney+ acquired its distribution rights in the UK and Ireland.
Unfortunately, the show is not available on premium video-on-demand platforms. Therefore, it cannot be rented or purchased through Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, or Fandango at Home. So the only confirmed viewing option is subscription streaming.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
The show ends with a chaotic showdown at Tobias’ factory, resulting in the defeat of the Gnome Queen and the restoration of peace in the town of Nompton.
While Stan has yet to renew the series for a second season, co-creator and writer Tegan Higginbotham revealed that the creative team is open to continuing the story.
Despite the lack of a renewal announcement, Higginbotham has expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work on Gnomes. He told The Sydney Morning Herald:
- “I grew up admiring the Sarah Connors [Terminator] and the Ellen Ripleys [Alien] of the world.”
- “And there was one day where Matt [Okine] and I were running around with shotguns and having debris thrown at us, and I was like, ‘this is the greatest thing that ever happened’.”
Although Gnomes Season 2 remains unconfirmed, the creative team's enthusiasm leaves the door open for another chaotic adventure in Nompton.
