The K-drama Island has been added to K-drama fans’ watchlist ahead of its release.
Island is an upcoming TVING and Amazon Prime drama series starring Cha Eun Woo, Kim Nam Gil, Sung Joon, and Lee Da Hee.
It explores the story of a protector who fights evil and a priest who performs exorcisms. A woman, meanwhile, gets exiled to Jeju Island after getting on her father’s nerves. As they meet, they join forces to eliminate evil spirits and survive them.

Where To Watch K-drama Island?
K-drama fans can watch Island on CJ ENM’s local streamer TVING in South Korea. It will also debut on Prime Video for fans outside its home country in December.
Both platforms are yet to confirm further details about airing the drama, but it will serve as the newest K-drama to enter Amazon Prime Video.

Director of Prime Video in Southeast Asia David Simonsen expressed how excited they are to share it soon.
“Island will complement our growing selection of content tailored to the region, which consists of local series and movies, anime and Korean content, alongside our amazing global content on Prime Video. Stay tuned for more information on Island exclusively on Prime Video in the coming weeks,” he said, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.
Island Cast Members
Cha Eun Woo, Kim Nam Gil, Sung Joon, and Lee Da Hee serve as the main cast members of the K-drama series.
Kim Nam Gil scored the role of Ban, a protector who acts as a weapon to fight evil and kill people who become possessed. Lee Da Hee, on the other hand, is the K-drama series’ Won Min Ho.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo plays the role of Priest John in the series. He is a Catholic priest who performs exorcisms to protect people’s lives while eliminating evil spirits.
On the other hand, Sung Joon plays Gunt Tan’s role, who is originally raised to fight evil spirits, but an accident makes him go against Ban.
K-drama Island Release Date and Time
Island is expected to be released in December 2022. The production team is yet to confirm its final release date.
