What is Black Summoner About?
When Kelvin comes to after his most recent reincarnation, he finds that he'd lost all memories of his previous life. He soon learns that this is, of course, because he went and chose to exchange those memories for new powerful abilities.
Along with this awareness soon comes the knowledge of his higher-than-average drive for battle. In short, he's a battle junkie.
With his new power and the goddess of reincarnation as his first follower, Kelvin sets out on this new world and goes on one battle after another, until he becomes the best adventurer.
Black Summoner is based on the ongoing light novel of the same title by Doufu Mayoi. In 2018, a manga adaptation by Gin Ammo is also in circulation.

Is Black Summoner on Crunchyroll?
With an active premium subscription, Black Summoner, along with other Summer 2022 shows, can be streamed on Crunchyroll the same day it comes out in Japan.
The platform's simulcast service for Black Summoner starts on July 9th and will go on every following Saturday, within a few hours after its Japan release.
As of this writing, no word about an English dub is out yet.
Is Black Summoner on Funimation?
Black Summoner will not be on Funimation.
After announcing a merger with Crunchyroll earlier this year, Funimation has been slowly moving its content over to the Crunchyroll database.
The merger has also meant new anime releases that would have been available to stream on Funimation will now only be on Crunchyroll.
There is no new update yet about whether Funimation will shut down for good, but it is expected to eventually discontinue anime streaming services.
Is Black Summoner on Netflix?
Black Summoner will not be available to stream on Netflix.
