The Sasuke Retsuden manga launched on Sunday, October 23, 2022, and fans of the Masashi Kishimoto's popular Naruto franchise are hyped for the new series. The story of Sasuke Uchiha was originally told in a light novel by Masashi Kishimoto and Jun Esaka, but the manga adaptation was just announced earlier in 2022.
Shueisha announced eight new manga series launching on their Shonen Jump+ app platform, including two Naruto spinoffs, and one of them is Sasuke Retsuden, while the other may be focused on another character and story in the Naruto universe.
Despite the fact that Sasuke Retsuden is available to read as a light novel, many fans expressed excitement at being able to read Sasuke's story in the manga for the first time, and it looks like the manga adaptation will be more accessible for fans of the Naruto franchise.
Where to read Sasuke Retsuden manga?
Fans can now read the first chapter of Sasuke Retsuden manga either via Shueisha's MANGAPlus website, Viz Media's official website, or Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app. The former two are free services that let readers access the first and latest three chapters of a series. The Shonen Jump+ app is a subscription-based app that gives readers access to an entire series.
Note that on Viz Media and MangaPlus, the manga is titled Naruto: Sasuke's Story — The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust: The Manga.
It didn't take long for Sasuke Retsuden to climb on Manga+'s charts, and it's likely that we will see more readers when more chapters come out.
When is Sasuke Retsuden Chapter 3 coming?
Now that the first two chapters of Sasuke Retsuden are out, manga readers are wondering when Chapter 3 is coming out. New manga chapters will be released bi-weekly, and Sasuke Retsuden Chapter 2 is reportedly set to release on Saturday November 19, 2022.

What is Sasuke Retsuden about?
The Sasuke Retsuden manga is based on the light novel of the same title written by Jun Esaka with original concept from Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto.
The synopsis of the light novel reads:
Uchiha Sasuke heads for an astronomical observatory, far from the Land of Fire. There, he syncs up with Sakura, and together they dive into an undercover investigation in search of traces of the Sage of Six Paths! They discover a plan that goes beyond life and death, and a battle that will test this husband-and-wife team till death do they part.
At this point, it's still unclear if the manga adaptation will make any changes to the light novel's original story, but we will update you here once we get more information from the upcoming manga chapters.
Promotional artwork for the Sasuke Retsuden manga also features an Uzumaki clan ninja as the main antagonist, based on the position this character is featured in and their fiery red hair. This shade of hair suitably matches that of Karin, Kushina, and Mito Uzumaki.
What can we expect from Sasuke Retsuden Chapter 3?
The main heroine of Sasuke Retsuden is none other than Sakura Haruno, the wife of Sasuke. While she didn't show up in the first two chapters, expect her to appear at some point in Sasuke Retsuden Chapter 3. Based on the synopsis, it looks like she will play a major role in the story moving forward.
Just like Sasuke, Sakura would be doing an investigation in Tatar Observatory in an attempt to discover the secrets of the Sage of Six Paths. It would be interesting to see the romantic aspect of this spinoff as both husband and wife will be taking on their hardest challenge to date together.
Expect Sasuke Retsuden Chapter 3 to feature intense scenes.
