Re:Monster is the latest isekai and fantasy anime series that is part of the spring 2024 anime lineup. While the anime is currently airing, some fans wish to know where to read the Re:Monster web and light novel online.

What Is Re:Monster About?

Re:Monster follows Tomokui Kanata who suffered an untimely death. But his death marks the beginning of his extraordinary journey.

Reincarnated into a world teeming with sorcery and monsters, he finds himself inhabiting the humble form of a goblin named Gobrou.

Undeterred by his tiny body, Gobrou leverages his memories, a new physique, and an insatiable hunger to flourish in this unfamiliar world.

In this world, survival hinges on devouring other beings to absorb their abilities. This task demands not only strength but a strong stomach and intelligence.

Re:Monster was first serialized online from May 2011 to 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing platform Shosetsuka ni Naro.

Later, AlphaPolis acquired the series, releasing nine volumes, a side story volume, and an extra volume from August 2012 to August 2017. The light novel series concluded with nine volumes on August 3, 2017.

Meanwhile, a spin-off light novel series titled Re:Monster: Ankoku Tairiku-hen began serialization in July 2018.

The fourth volume of the spin-off series was released on March 31, 2024, in Japanese.

As of writing, the Re:Monster web novel and light novel are not available to read in English online or in print editions.

However, the light novel volumes in Japanese are available online on Book Walker in both print and digital formats.

The Re:Monster light novels have also been adapted into a manga series. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the license for the manga in North America.
