Goblin Slayer is a controversial dark fantasy anime in a world where cunning goblins run rampant, raiding villages and kidnapping women.
The anime is based on a light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki.
Two different manga adaptations, one by KÅsuke Kurose and one by Masahiro Ikeno, have also stemmed from it.
In all cases, the story follows the titular Goblin Slayer, a man in armor who has found his life purpose in killing goblins.
Adventuring with him is a young priestess, a high elf, a dwarf, and a lizardman, all keen to take down the cunning goblins that aren't other heroes' main focus due to their lowly reputation.
As of writing, the light novel series has 16 volumes.
Is Goblin Slayer Available in English?
Yes, the majority of the Goblin Slayer light novels are translated into English.
Out of 16 volumes, 15 have been translated, with the latest one due to come out in English in November 2023. Any future volumes will likely also be translated.

Where to Read the Goblin Slayer Light Novel Online
As of writing, Goblin Slayer's light novels aren't available online legally on a web novel website. However, there are ways to read the series digitally for those who wish to do so.
