One Piece and Uniqlo have a new 25th-anniversary t-shirt collection made to celebrate the anime’s upcoming major milestone.
While the manga already celebrated its 25th anniversary two years ago, this celebration is for the anime. After all, the anime premiered in October 1999, meaning October 2024 marks 25 years for the iconic series.
This is not the first time that Uniqlo and One Piece teamed up, though this one might just be the biggest collection as it features 13 designs.
One Piece Uniqlo 25th Anniversary T-Shirt Designs
Over the years, Uniqlo has collaborated with popular anime such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Spy x Family. One Piece is also a common collaborator as there was the Film: Red collection in 2022 with four t-shirts.
Now, the two have linked up once again, this time it’s a bigger collection that’s sure to delight long-time fans of the franchise. That’s because the designs are inspired by the anime’s arcs starting from the beginning to the latest one.
The collection features eight men’s shirts with the following designs:
To start, there’s the Luffy graphic tee taken from the very start of his One Piece adventure.
Other designs include the iconic Alabasta team-up, Luffy’s Gear 2, Luffy and Ace’s hug, the start of the New World saga, Doflamingo, Kaidou, and Egghead Island.
Meanwhile, the collab also features 5 shirt designs for kids:
The kid's shirt designs are cuter, with graphics including the adorable Chopper, Film: Red’s Uta, Luffy’s Gear 5, and the Egghead Island artwork. Finally, there’s a design that features the three brothers Luffy, Sabo, and Ace as kids.
How Much Is the One Piece x Uniqlo Anniversary Shirt Collection?
Even though it’s a special anniversary collection, the prices of the t-shirts are in line with the typical price tags of Uniqlo tees.
The men’s designs are priced at 1,500 JPY each while the kid’s tees have a price tag of 990 JPY each.
In the US, Uniqlo graphic tees are typically priced at 24.90 USD and 14.90 USD for men’s and kid’s designs, respectively. As such, you can expect the One Piece collab to also have similar prices.
Where to Buy the One Piece 25th Anniversary Uniqlo UT Line
This new collection will be released in Japanese Uniqlo stores and the official online store on July 22, 2024.
For now, there’s no word yet on release plans and a launch date for the lineup in the US. Chances are that this will be released soon given that most Uniqlo UT collections end up being released in US stores.
The collab will likely arrive in the US in August or September based on previous Uniqlo anime releases.
