Details about the new McDonald’s anime collab have been revealed. Now, fans are wondering where to buy the new McDonald’s and Studio Pierrot “WcDonald’s” crossover menu items and more.
The collab’s teaser was released on February 21, and it teased a potential February 26 start date. Anime fans didn’t have to wait long as details about this surprise crossover were revealed later that day.
McDonald’s Finally Reveals Studio Pierrot Anime Collab
McDonald’s has collaborated with anime shows and movies before, though most of these were Japan-exclusive.
Now though, Mickey D’s has an anime collab in the US alongside Pierrot, the notable anime studio behind popular shonen titles like Bleach, Naruto, Black Clover, and many more.
No anime collab will be complete without an anime, and this one is no exception. McDonald’s and Pierrot’s collab will feature four anime shorts that will be released every Monday beginning February 26.
These anime shorts' titles, genres, and release dates are as follows:
- The Race to WcDonald's (action) – February 26
- Love from Across the Booth (romance) – March 4
- WcNuggets Space Frontier 3000 (mecha) – March 11
- The Wisdom of the Sauce (fantasy) – March 18
The collab will also feature special manga chapters featuring original characters by Japanese illustrator Acky Bright.
These characters will appear in special packaging for the collab meal, which will feature a brand-new Savory Chilli sauce for Chicken McNuggets.

Isekai-Inspired WcDonald's Immersive Dining Experience to Open in LA
To celebrate the collab, McDonald’s announced its “WcDonald's Immersive Dining Experience” – a special real-life WcDonald’s location that will feature an isekai anime theme.
This experience will also include various design elements based on the four anime shorts by Pierrot. Plus, diners will get a WcDonald’s set meal so they can try out the new McNuggets sauce.
McDonald’s will open this special experience in Los Angeles, CA, from March 9 to 10, with reservations becoming available on OpenTable starting February 28.

McDonald’s Pierrot Collab: US WcDonald’s Release Date and Locations
The collaboration will begin on February 26, 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a complete list of branches where the Pierrot collab will be available.
McDonald’s did confirm that the crossover will be available in more than 30 global markets.
Because of its wide rollout, chances are that the new meal set will be available in most McDonald’s stores in the US and Canada. More details will likely be shared in the coming days on the official collab website.
