Who is Nettles and Why is She Crucial in Fire & Blood?
In a group of dragon riders known as "dragonseeds", aka a term to describe bastards from House Targaryen and House Velaryon, Team Black has one of the most prominent young women on the frontlines: Nettles.
Nettles is described to be a character from Fire & Blood who is a small, skinny, brown-skinned girl with black hair brown eyes, and a scar on her nose as punishment for her thievery.
She was also one of the four dragonseeds who had successfully tamed a dragon in her own unconventional way.
Some say she had a natural talent for figuring out how a dragon would eventually warm up to her by nurturing it to think that only she could provide sheep to Sheepstealer, aka the dragon she tamed and trained; one of the most important reasons why both Daemon and Rhaenyra trust her on the frontlines.
Nettles will also become the driving point as to why her marriage with Daemon will continue to fall apart as more episodes air on HBO and Max.
Since her fellow dragonseeds, Hugh the Hammer and Ulf the White, are confirmed in House of the Dragon this season 2, fans are hoping that the only female dragonseed, too, will spring up on our screens soon.
According to rumors, House of the Dragon season 2 has potentially written her out of her own story. Now, is this true or not? Will we really ever get to see Nettles?

Fans Are Doubtful on Showrunner's Tease About Nettles' Debut
House of the Dragon season 2 is halfway through once episode 4 releases on July 7, and considering that the series missed out on introducing Alysanne Blackwood in the Battle of the Burning Mill, what are the chances Nettles will get her spotlight?
The rumored cutting of Nettles' appearance came ahead of season 2's release, implying that her character would only be vital once the third season comes out. But this remains unconfirmed.
The most that we do hear about Nettles' potential appearance comes from a quick word from showrunner Ryan Condal, who recently teased, "I'm not ready to comment on any characters we haven't met on screen yet, so I would just say stay tuned."
For now, fans can only hold onto their last faith that the showrunner knows what he's promising to the franchise.
