The wait is nearly over! While the first three episodes of The Boys' final season featured smaller Gen V cameras—most notably Maverick, the invisible son of Translucent—Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) has been conspicuously absent. Here's where fans can expect Gen V's Marie's actual debut in The Boys universe.
WARNING: This article contains MAJOR SPOILERS for The Boys season 5, so proceed with caution.
When Can Fans Expect Gen V's Marie to Make Her Cameo in The Boys Universe?

Marie Moreau (played by Jaz Sinclair) was mentioned in the first three episodes of The Boys season 5, seemingly hinting at her potential entrance into The Boys universe as Godolkin/God U student Maverick faces a tragic fate in episode 3 (getting accidentally killed by Cindy). Can fans expect Gen V's Marie to join the Prime series soon?
Showrunner Eric Kripke recently confirmed when the two worlds are likely to collide: "Yeah, the Gen V kids certainly show up before the season's over. We definitely wanted to keep them alive and be clear that they are out there in Annie's army fighting the good fight."
Kripke added that the Gen V's appearance is also crucial in connecting both universes, especially since the main series is ending ahead of the spin-off's ongoing status: "The last thing I would want is for people to feel like, 'I have to go back and watch Gen V now as homework to understand what's happening in The Boys.'"
Another thing Kripke emphasized in a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly is that he doesn't want the Boys universe to turn into what the MCU had become: "I never want it to feel like mandatory viewing."
With Homelander now on the hunt for the first-generation Compound V, also known as V-1, which would grant him immortality, the same way it did Soldier Boy, the Boys are in danger of facing a failed plan all over again.
That said, mentioning Marie the blood bender could shake things up, as her abilities are rumored to be the "only thing" capable of "destabilizing" the V-1 serum. And if that's not the answer the show's planning to confirm, another theory is that Marie could "detect" the V-1 serum inside a Supe's system before they become fully immortal.
Are the Boys and Gen V Teaming Up? Why Kripke Doesn't Want Them To

Apart from cameos and references, could the Gen V kids team up with The Boys to defeat Homelander? Showrunner Kripke's answer might surprise some, but it definitely made the most sense. He wants neither hero to be "all over" in each other's universes for a reason.
"Part of it is just a function of this being a different show," Kripke said, "While they are sharing a universe, you can't bring over the Gen V kids to save The Boys because then what are the Boys going to do [in their own universe]?"
As of writing, it's unclear how the original team can stop the supes gone wild. But Marie's powers do contain the potential way out of destroying the evil superheroes, including Homelander, once and for all.
For now, The Boys season 5 episode 4, titled Though the Heavens Fall, releases on Prime on April 22, 2026.
