Yes, the streaming giant has confirmed that the Spanish action drama will be returning for a third season through a short teaser. The announcement was made in August 2021.
Netflix's decision to renew the show for a third season doesn't really come as a surprise since the public's reception has been very welcoming. But unfortunately, Sky Rojo Season 3 will be its final season, which means there will no longer be a fourth season to look forward to.
When Is Sky Rojo Season 3 Release Date?
Netflix renewed Sky Rojo for a third season in August 2021. After that, filming was expected to begin in November 2021, as evidenced on the Instagram of Asier Etxeandia, who plays Romeo, in the show.
"Confirmed, after the skyrojomania we started shooting season 3 in November."
But because of unforeseen events, filming was delayed until January 2022. Yany Prado, who plays Gina in the show, shared a reel that confirmed filming had begun.
Unfortunately, the delay also means the release date of Sky Rojo Season 3 has also been moved to Friday, January 13, 2023. Once the show gets released, all of its episodes will be available to stream right away.

In Sky Rojo Season 2, the trio managed to escape from Romeo after successfully stealing 4 million euros from him. They traveled off to Madeira without knowing that Romeo uses this port to do business too. And with the new women standing out like a sore thumb, it will only be a matter of time before one of the locals pinpoints their location to Romeo.
