Ever since Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves came out in theaters last March 31, it has consistently been on the news for topping the charts. More importantly, avid D&D geeks praised the film highly.

And now that it's been over a month since the film premiered, we can't wait to watch the movie in the comfort of our homes. The question is, when is it coming out on Netflix?

First of all, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is not yet available on Netflix, and for good reason. Since it is a Paramount Pictures film, the movie will initially be exclusively available to stream on Paramount+.

In the US, the film is now available to stream on Paramount+ since May 16th. The movie will be available on the platform in the coming months.

Another option to watch the movie is to purchase a digital copy or via Premium Video-On-Demand. Paramount Pictures made this option available on select platforms on May 2nd.

If you opt for this method, the streaming platforms where the film is already available include the following:

  • Amazon Prime Video
  • Google Play
  • iTunes
  • Vudu
  • Google Play
  • YouTube

Unsurprisingly, yes. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is still showing in theaters across the country. This means that you still have time to watch the movie in your favorite theater.

Unfortunately, the option to watch the movie in premium formats, like Dolby and IMAX, is no longer available.

Another sad news is that you probably won't have as much time left to watch the movie in your favorite theater. Now that D&D is available on Paramount+, it will likely be pulled out of cinemas soon.

Will There Be a Sequel?

Despite its stellar performance at the box office, there hasn't been an announcement yet for a Dungeons & Dragons sequel.

Polygon reported that the film's directors, John Frances Daley and Jonathan Goldstein were not against the idea of doing a sequel. But when they started the project, the two did not initially plan to create a franchise.

If ever the two directors decide to do a sequel, they shared that they will be retaining the characters in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves instead of introducing new ones.

Considering the D&D universe is so vast, there's a wealth of information that the two could use to expand the movie on. It's only a matter of whether they decide to push through with the sequel or not.

For now, you can watch Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on Paramount+ in the comfort of your own home.
