What Solution Did The Watcher Have to Save the Multiverse in Marvel's What If..? Finale

After a whole season of Marvel's What If..?, the non-intervention of Uatu was finally broken in the finale episode as he would have to save the multiverse from its very existence as the threat of Ultron having all six Infinity stones is so much of a threat that every life in each universe depends on The Watcher having a solution to the problem. What did he have under his sleeve?

The robot army of Ultron came rushing down every universe in the multiverse and those kept making a mess of each. Uatu traveled through some to get his chosen ones: Captain Carter, Gamora who wields the two-sided sword of Thanos, Killmonger who is now the Black Panther, Star-Lord T'Challa, and Party Thor. With the help of Doctor Strange Supreme, they planned how to eliminate Ultron by taking away the stones from his body.

At first, they thought of using Gamora's tool, the Infinity Crusher, which would crush the Infinity stones into pieces. However, there, it did not work at all as somehow, the Infinity stones also have different variants in the multiverse that some could be crushed by the Infinity crusher and some, like the ones on Ultron, cannot.

They had to devise a plan to defeat the supervillain and keep him off of the stones. In the end, Natasha was the one who took the shot, with the use of Clint's bow and the arrow where Zola is, and with the help of Captain Carter who removed the helmet of Ultron, they put Zola in Ultron, seemingly defeating the evil AI.

However, the story doesn't stop there as Killmonger was a traitor to them and he took the stones and put it in his Black Panther suit. Ultron-Zola claims the stone to be his and a joust between the stones happened. Doctor Strange Supreme realized that the only goal they had was to freeze time between Ultron-Zola and Killmonger at the moment when both of them do not hold the six.

Doctor Strange Supreme suspended time and space by keeping both Ultron-Zola and Killmonger in a bubble-like state and he swore to protect it making a pocket universe within a pocket universe.

So, what did Uatu do and how did he come up with a solution? Simple. Since he is The Watcher, he already saw what happens in the future, very much like Kang, and Uatu gathered the Guardians of the Multiverse under the assistance of Doctor Strange Supreme. He could've already known that Killmonger would do that. In the end, his intervention paid off after all.
