What Lyanna Mormont Actress Will Miss About Working on Game of Thrones

Probably one of the most stand out characters to come out of Game of Thrones is Lyanna Mormont, the young lady running her house who is tough as nails. Since this is the final season of the show, it will also be the last time we'll be seeing her character, and actress Bella Ramsey talks a bit about what she will miss the most playing Lyanna.

Talking to The Cut, Ramsey says the thing she'll miss the most about the show is the man-shaming. She explains:

"I think the opportunity to stand up in front of a load of grown men and shame them. I think playing confident characters also helps with your own confidence. Say you're in a situation where you're feeling anxious or nervous — you can become a character and work through it that way. I'll miss that about her."

No doubt, Lyanna is a character that's managed to stand out on her own based solely on her gruff attitude. Besides being just a little girl, she truly embodies the hardened nature of the northerners, and despite Jorah trying to talk her down, she's insistent that she wants to battle the white walkers by the time they reach Winterfell.

While I don't expect a wholly satisfying arc for Lyanna in the show, I wouldn't put it past the showrunners. Maybe she'll die in the battle, forcing Jorah to take over? Or will she be the one to restore Jorah's honor if he's the one who ends up dying?

For now, we wait for the Battle of Winterfell which will air this coming Sunday on HBO.
