The official summary of Rosaline reveals that the film is a comedic take on the classic Romeo & Juliet. The only difference here is that the story will be told from the perspective of Rosaline, Juliet's cousin.
Coincidentally, she catches the eye of Romeo and becomes his love interest. But when Romeo meets Juliet and decides to pursue her, Rosaline becomes heartbroken. It is up to her to come up with a plan to win back her man.
