Juliette, also known as Julie, is the only child of Bazelle, a skilled blacksmith, and Lillitella, a talented jewel maker.
She finds herself entangled in a terrible situation. Due to mounting debts, they are all forced into slavery.
While her parents were swiftly sold, Juliette, weakened by malnourishment and illness, lingered in the slave market.
It was there that she crossed paths with Rudeus Greyrat, Zanoba, and Fitts for the first time.
Juliette is a small girl because of her dwarf ancestry. During her enslavement, she suffered from severe malnutrition, rendering her dangerously thin.
Under Rudeus’s mentorship, Juliette hones her skills in Earth Magic, crafting dolls for Zanoba.
As a dwarf, she possesses a natural aptitude for both Earth and Fire Magic, yet she dedicates her focus primarily to Earth Magic.

As the series progresses, she continues to stay close to her masters and grow with them.
