What is the Marauder Ship in The Bad Batch? What Happened To It?
In the world of Star Wars, different types of aircraft and ships hold meaning in building characters and settings in the franchise.
In this case, the Bad Batch team has its so-called safe haven and that is The Marauder. The ship serves as the Clone Force 99 team's home base and gunship.
Initially, the Marauder was used for old missions during the Clone Wars due to the vessel's stealth, speed, and maneuverability.
The ship holds five wingtip-mounted light laser cannons and a double laser cannon at its rear, with a maximum speed of 750 kph (466 mph).
It can also extend its wings required for any flight missions. Not only has the ship been resourceful in any dangerous situations but it also serves as a shelter for the Bad Batchers.
At one point, while the Marauder needed major repairs, the Bad Batch landed on Ordo's moon to fix it, lending the top gunport to Omega as her temporary bedroom.
Now, it is worth mentioning that The Marauder is still in one piece in the series, however, fans have grown concerned over what the trailer for the upcoming episodes has teased.
In the preview, we see the future of the Marauder exploding. Though this doesn't confirm whether it's going to happen or if it's a hypothetical future, fans have come up with their theories.

The Marauder's Death Devastates The Bad Batch Fans
It's difficult for fans to imagine how the Bad Batchers could travel the vast galaxy without the Marauder. The ship is an essential part of the team's journey and how their bonds formed together, after all.
However, based on the trailer alone, The Bad Batch fans surmised that the death of the Marauder was always bound to happen. It could be a new opening for the Clone Force 99 to move forward in some way.
Even though some Star Wars fans are speculating that this may be a sign of the Bad Batchers getting their new ship, the majority are still clinging to the ship's nostalgic meaning for the Bad Batchers.
Again, these are mere theories from fans after watching the teaser. We'll have to wait and see once the next episodes release next week.
