What Happened to Ethan Payne? Is He Leaving Sidemen?
Ethan Payne is the co-founder and member of the British YouTube group Sidemen.
Before the creation of Sidemen, Ethan had his own YouTube channel and was known as Behzinga. He produces videos on gaming, football, and fitness that are injected with his comedic antics.
His main YouTube channel has garnered a total of over 4.49M subscribers as well as 500 million views.
Sidemen was formed on October 19, 2023, with Payne working alongside seven British YouTubers beginning in 2014: Vikram Barn (Vikkstar123), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), Tobi Brown (TBJZL), Harry Lewis (W2S), Simon Minter (Miniminter), JJ Olatunji (KSI), and Payne.
The YouTube channel consisted of challenges, sketches, and video game commentary as its main video content, alongside the exclusive Sidemen merchandise.
Now, out of the blue, a TikTok video was posted by KSI featuring Ethan Payne's pictures with the other members of Sidemen.
The TikTok video had a caption that says "Time flies", and also happened to have shown Ethan seemingly leaving a comment saying, "And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again."
While the reason for his departure wasn't disclosed, as he said he would talk about it sometime, the YouTuber explained this was not the case at all.

YouTuber Ethan Payne Debunks Leaving Rumors
As it so happens, Ethan wasn't going to let this rumor catch more fire than it should. He took to his official Instagram profile to address the issue with his story captioned:
"Everyone who thinks I've left the Sidemen, the TikTok accounts are FAKE." Ethan announced to his story, "I am here with one of them and another and another one. So, listen here, everybody, stop messaging me - I am still one of them."
It remains to be seen as to why this became a rumor, apart from a fan appearing to have fun spreading controversial news on the platform. Thankfully, he isn't going anywhere.
