What Happened in Demon Rush Anime Episode 2?
The episode opens with Soren training while Haniel, Angel of Blessings, and Az look over him.
Soren is shown swinging Aethernus more naturally and Az notes that Soren has built his body well and now can wield the blade with ease.
The next scene shows Rush moving away and it has been established in the series that Soren shares a close bond with Rush who has moved to the evil side of the moral spectrum.
Then it is revealed that thousands of years ago the Angels joined humanity to battle against Lucifer’s demonic legion.
Lucifer was responsible for opening the gates of hell unleashing countless demons on Earth.
However, the war took a toll on both sides as they suffered massive losses.
Cut to the present time, it is stated that Lucifer’s army invaded Earth seven years ago.
Demons started to roam the planet, eating people and looking for power. We then get to see Soren in his present form.
Soren says that for the past seven years, he has been trying to keep the world from falling apart.
The scene changes to Archangel Michael suddenly appearing and soon several hell gates opened in Star City.
Then, we get a glimpse of a dragon named Algolga. Michael is seen commanding Algolga not to venture further.
Micheal and Algolga engage in a mighty clash. The dragon’s power is just too overwhelming.
Micheal tries to counter with Celesti Fragor (Divine Judgment) which is his most powerful move.
The scene cuts to Az noting that this time, they took Michael, who was their most powerful ally.
A portal opens and Micheal is seen getting sucked into the other dimension where he will be tortured.
Az then declares that if Soren wants to master Aethernus, he must break his imperium limit.
Soren is then shown in his armor wielding the sword and battling a demon named Cipactli, the Devourer.
Rush is also shown being forced to go to hell. Rush’s first battle is against a demon in Limbo, which is floor zero of hell.
Toward the end, we see Rush fight against Conah, the Primal Bear.

Demon Rush Anime Episode 2 Ending Explained
The final scene of Demon Rush episode 2 shows Soren and his allies standing on the edge of a cliff.
We can see Az, High Tower, Ezca, and an unnamed woman with orange hair standing alongside Soren.
They can be seen looking over the cliff as a horde of evil demons rush toward them.
Among the demons, we also get a glimpse of Rush and Gorgon.
The episode ends with Rush unleashing his final demon form. However, it remains to be seen how Rush achieves his final demon form.

Demon Rush Anime Episode 2 Easter Eggs
In the opening of the episode, we get to see Haniel, who is the Angel of Blessings.
Haniel is known to be a major Greater Being in the Demon Rush card game.
There is also a shot of Ghoul, the Gravedigger, who too is a Greater Being.
The episode also introduces General Adler, and it is teased that the military will play a role in the upcoming episodes.
Next up is the demon who faces off against Michael, turns out, this demon is Algolga who was originally an angel.
However, Lucifer makes Algolga so powerful that he can beat Michael and send him to hell.
In episode 2, we also meet Karner, who is a member of the Occult and is responsible for taking Rush to hell.
Toward the end, we see a female character with orange hair who remains unnamed as of episode 2, but she is teased to be a part of Soren’s league of comrades.
Finally, Rush's demon form is unveiled as another Easter egg. Viewers can anticipate witnessing his ultimate demon form in action in a subsequent episode.
