Westworld Star Cast in Star Wars' The Mandalorian

Disney's first Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, continues to make headlines, despite us not knowing much about it. We know that top talent like Jon Favreau and Taika Waititi will be directing some episodes, the former of whom also acting as the showrunner. It seems like the series is in good hands and they have a talented cast too, from Pedro Pascal to Gina Carano.

It seems like they are adding even more talent to The Mandalorian since Deadline confirmed that Westworld and Twilight star Julia Jones has been added. Details on her character's role aren't known but we can all assume that she'll play some sort of role. Whether she's a fellow bounty hunter, some Jedi outcast or something else entirely has yet to be revealed.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian has a lot of Star Wars fans excited. This is the very first live-action series from the franchise and it will supposedly have a big budget. Considering how they're competing with Netflix, they definitely want to bring that kind of quality to the show. The fact that it's set after Return of the Jedi is very exciting since we might see how The First Order gets formed.

While I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, everything I've seen from the show looks promising. If the quality remains consistent and we get a lot of worldbuilding, this could be a win-win for everyone.

The Mandalorian will debut on November 12, the same date as the launch of Disney+.
