The previous episode, titled Lead's Distress, opened with Lied crying when Iruma found him. He is crying because Elizabetta robbed him of the vase.

More than that, Elizabetta told him that she does not like him because he is not her type. This caused him to faint from the shock and wake up without the vase.

However, Iruma refuses to believe Lied, as he knows that Elizabetta would not make such a desperate move.

Iruma thinks that it might've instead been Orobas who stole the vase and fooled Lied with a hallucination to point the blame on Elizabetta.

Lied uses his Sense Steal to locate Elizabetta. They then learn that she is miles away from them, proving Iruma's theory to be true.

They also learn that Crocel wants to team up with Elizabetta and Clara as they want to invade Picero and Goemon's castle to steal their materials.

Picero is no longer interested in fighting, so he surrenders to Crocel. However, all the other students in the castle are determined to fight back.

Kamui leads the monsters after training in Gentleman Combat but they get defeated by Goemon.

Eventually, Kamui calls on the boss-class monsters to back them up during the battle.

Meanwhile, Iruma, Lied, and Naphula are confused while watching all the events unfold from a distance.
