WB Montreal's Batman Game Teaser Might be Teasing Batgirl

We're all still waiting for the official reveal of the Warner Bros. Montreal Batman game that will likely focus on The Court of Owls. It's not yet known if this will be a part of the Batman: Arkham franchise or a hard reboot that establishes a new continuity but those questions should be answered soon when DC's Fandome event comes. Interestingly enough, the r3dakt3d Twitter WB Montreal came up with has been posting some codes that fans have had fun deciphering and one Reddit user may have cracked them.

On Reddit, the fan revealed that when you put the numbers together as 761941364995 you'll get an eBay listing for Detective Comics #359, which is the "million-dollar debut" of Batgirl. It's an intriguing post, to say the least, and we're interested in seeing how major the character will be in this game. She only had a short campaign to play through in Batman: Arkham Knight but it is worth noting that WB Montreal also worked on that content.

Batgirl and The Court of Owls don't have much history, though she did have a tie-in comic when Batman took them on in the early days of The New 52. The group does have some history with Dick Grayson though so here's hoping they reference that in some way. Still, it looks like they will give Batgirl some love and we're looking forward to it.

Fans will find out more about the WB Montreal Batman game during Fandome on Aug. 22. The event will also reveal Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League from Rocksteady, the original developers of the Batman: Arkham games.
