Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures is a great web show where we get anime-inspired re-imaginings of scenes from the Star Wars films, and a new episode just dropped showing us Vader’s assault on Hoth.
While in the film we didn’t really get to see Vader do much but walk into the base, here’ we actually have him taking down some soldiers and using his Force powers. I think what’s fun about the franchise is that fans always find a way to fill in the blanks in the films—even going so far as to solve plotholes and the like.
For now, everyone is gearing up for the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in December. Though the teaser doesn’t really give us much, it has been teased that Emperor Palpatine will be making a return. Now I’m thinking this will come with some kind of flashback or force vision that will have Darth Vader officially meeting Kylo Ren.
TROS is expected to hold a panel this coming July at SDCC 2019, so we should expect the drop of the full trailer there. With this film ending the sequel trilogy that was kicked off in 2015, I’m hoping J.J. Abrams finds a way to end Rey, Finn, and everyone else’s arc with a bang. After that, it’s going to be a long wait until David Benioff and D.B. Weiss’ Old Republic movie hits theaters.
Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it comes out Dec. 20.
