The Mandalorian is set to come back to Disney+ this weekend, and fans have been getting excited all month. Just in, Disney+ has dropped an official Season 1 recap giving us all the important bits from the first season of the show including Mando's mission and his main adversary, Moff Gideon.

Though the story for The Mandalorian is very straightforward, there are still a lot of mysteries that we have yet to solve the world. Besides the overall mystery surrounding Baby Yoda and his species, fans are very curious as to what Moff Gideon wants to do with him, and how he got his hands on the Darksaber in the first place.
Some speculate that Baby Yoda is a clone of the actual Yoda in the show, and Gideon wants to use him for some kind of Force-related project. What are the odds that Gideon is working on the behest of the dead Palpatine, and he's planning on using Baby Yoda to fully resurrect the Emperor?
While the first season was very sparing when it came to fanservice, it's said that Disney is going full-on with it when it comes to Season 2. We're going to be getting the live-action debut of fan favorites like Ahsoka and Captain Rex, plus we're also said to be meeting an older Boba Fett as well.
Personally, my only gripe with the show is that episodes are too short, but with the first episode rumored to be 50+ minutes long, hopefully, Lucasfilm has found a way to better develop the characters now.
The Mandalorian Season 2 debuts on Disney+ on Oct. 30.
