Lucasfilm is gearing up for some big releases by the end of the year, but this month sees the return of the second (and last) season of Star Wars Resistance. What's cool is, the first episode of the show has been put up on Youtube by Star Wars Kids.

Following their battle with the First Order, Kaz and his friends hope to reach the Resistance base on D'Qar. But the Colossus has suffered damage, and there may be other threats lurking in the shadows...

Just like the first season which took place in a timeline parallel to The Force Awakens, the second season of Resistance is said to show us what happens to Kaz and the crew of the Colossus during the events of The Last Jedi. We'll get to know what they were up to during the Battle of Crait, and it's said that the show will end building up to the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Admittedly, I'm not that big of a fan of the animation style, but I do love pilots and ships, so I hope this isn't the last we see of Kaz and the Resistance characters. If anything, I'm hoping for a full revamp, and I'm hopeful Lucasfilm will give us something with some more quality animation; something along the lines of The Legend of Korra would be amazing.
