Solo: A Star Wars Story hits digital next week, and Lucasfilm is slowly releasing promos to get people excited for the release. Thanks to USA Today, we have a look at a deleted scene featuring Han and Qi'Ra's foot chase on Corellia.
I'll admit, the love scene between them is a tad cheesy, but Han's reluctance to jump into a barrel full of eels is priceless. I don't know if it's official, but it feels like a reference to Indiana Jones and how he has a crippling fear of snakes. It's even funny when they jump out and Han pulls one out of his pants.
Solo admittedly didn't make as much money as the newer Star Wars movies, but it's not a testament to its quality as a film at all. A lot of people actually loved Solo, but seeing that Disney had pulled back on marketing, and it came after box office heavyweights like Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2, it was understandable that Solo floundered upon release.
You'd think that Disney would want to make up for it with the movie hitting digital, but it seems that marketing is still slowly trickling out. I'm just crossing my fingers that we get a sequel featuring Alden Ehrenreich's Solo again because he was just a delight to watch.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits digital Sept. 14.
