Robert Downey Jr. may have retired the character of Iron Man onscreen, but he's still pretty much connected to the character offscreen. With RDJ participating on AGBO Superhero League Week, there's a new video of him being trashed by none other than Ant-Man Paul Rudd.
Check it out:
Paul Rudd's dedication to trash talk is pretty much unmatched at this point. The level of commitment in this charity fantasy football league has set a new bar and we can't stop listening. There is quite the soundtrack coming together this season between Rudd's music video and Karen Gillan's hit single.
Basically, the video has Rudd covering Black Sabbath's Iron Man with lyrics changed to make fun of RDJ. Rudd even goes the extra mile by playing everyone in the band; not to mention the video also has some great animation.
With Rudd upping the ante for the AGBO superhero league trash talking, I'm curious what RDJ's retort is going to be. I always thought that Downey has a sharp sense of humor; it's not quite Paul Rudd's style of antics, but I'm excited to see how he's going to fire back.
AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football Charity League, a one-of-a-kind fantasy football league featuring some of the biggest stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) playing for charity. With a $1,250,000 donation from FanDuel, a leader in the fantasy sports industry and this year's exclusive presenting sponsor, Season Two of the AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League is raising the stakes with new and returning players competing for a more than ten times larger prize pool than the inaugural season. $1,000,000 will be awarded to the charities selected by the ‘superhero' league participants, based in part on their standings.
Robert Downey Jr. may be done playing Iron Man, but you can catch Paul Rudd in the third Ant-Man film which is set to come out in 2022.
