Watch New Trailer for the Guillermo del Toro-Produced Antlers

After The Shape of Water went out to win all the awards, Guillermo del Toro has found himself producing a lot of horror films. We had Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark last August, and now we have a new trailer for this other del Toro-produced film, Antlers.

Here's the official description:

In ANTLERS, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.

You'll probably recognize Jesse Plemons as the actor behind Todd in Breaking Bad. Keri Russell is best known for The Americans, but you'll also see her as new character Zorri Bliss in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

As for director Scott Cooper, he's worked on films like Black Mass, Hostiles, and Crazy Heart. By the looks of it, this will be his first horror film, as the rest of his filmography looks to contain more grounded movies.

With del Toro onboard, you'll know everyone will be in for a great movie monster. We don't know wat the monster in Antlers does specifically, but I'm sure everything will be explained in the film. If anything, I thought the trailer was pretty cool just keeping everything silent then just ending it with, "Daddy?"

No release date has been set for Antlers, but the film is set to come out sometime in 2020.
