Watch Mark Hamill React to His Original Star Wars Audition

Adam Driver isn't the only Star Wars actor making a charity deal with Omaze. Just in, Omaze has just released their promo with Mark Hamill promoting a chance to win a dinner with him as well as tickets to the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. What's fun is, they made Hamill react to his audition video for the original Star Wars.

What's fun is that Hamill had a lot of insight just watching himself audition in the clip. For one, he says that this audition was also the same time he met Harrison Ford, and you can see that the script still had the initial issues with a lot of the lines being hard to say.

Hamill also goes on about thinking that Ford was actually playing the lead and was shocked to see that he was playing the protagonist all along. He also reveals that Carrie Fisher was the last person to join the cast, and she was admittedly the youngest person among the three of them, with Hamill in his late 20s and Ford in his early 30s (Fisher was only 19 at the time).

I'm sure that someone like Hamill is tired of telling these Star Wars stories over and over again, but I think his advocacy to help underprivileged kids get into college is worthwhile. You can enter the Omaze contest here.

Catch Hamill in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it hits theaters Dec. 20.
