Watch: Josh Brolin Reads Trump Tweets as Thanos

Avengers: Infinity War may have come out last April, but a lot of people are still talking about the movie. To promote the release of Sicario 2, Josh Brolin made an appearance on The Late Showwith Stephen Colbert, and he was asked to read Donald Trump tweets in his Thanos voice.

The clip starts at 9:40:

What’s weird is, I always thought that Brolin used his regular voice when he played Thanos, but he actually adds a little bit of growl to it, as you can see in the video. This also isn’t the first time that Colbert has asked someone to read Trump tweets as a character. He did the same thing with Andy Serkiswho read the tweets as Gollum.

It’s also worth noting that Mark Hamill reads Trump tweets as the Joker, but Colbert never asked him to do that.

If you watch the rest of the interview, you can actually see that Brolin is kind of a wacky guy. Though he is well acclaimed actor on his own accord, it’s still fun to see someone like him make jokes and fool around.

Thanos ended up blowing everyone away when Infinity War came out, and everyone is excited to see him make a comeback in Avengers 4. Let’s hope Brolin brought his A-game, along with the rest of the actors in the MCU.

Avengers 4 comes out May 3, 2019.
